This Billing & Refund Policy explains how subscriptions, payments, trials, cancellations, renewals, and refunds work on the Sigvera platform. We aim to be clear and transparent so you always know what to expect.

1. Introduction

This policy governs all billing, subscription, trial, cancellation, and refund matters for the Sigvera platform. It applies to all users who subscribe to or purchase any Sigvera plan. By subscribing to a paid plan or starting a free trial, you agree to the billing and refund terms described in this policy. This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. Subscription Plans

Sigvera offers the following plans: Free: Access to curated public signals, basic company profiles, and limited browsing. No payment required. Pro (Monthly): $49/month, billed monthly. Full access to signal archive, unlimited follows, personal watchlists, Ask AI, and structured signal briefings. Pro (Annual): $382.20/year (equivalent to $31.85/month). This reflects a 35% founding discount compared to the standard monthly rate. The discounted rate is locked in for subscribers who sign up during the founding period. Full access to all Pro features. Enterprise: Custom pricing. Contact us for tailored solutions. Plan features and pricing may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be communicated before they take effect on your next billing cycle.

3. Free Trial Terms

Sigvera Pro includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. A valid payment method (credit or debit card) is required to start the trial. Your card will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the end of the 7-day trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your card will be charged at the applicable rate (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you selected). If you cancel during the trial period, no charge will be made. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of the trial period. The free trial is available once per user. We reserve the right to limit trial availability to prevent abuse.

4. Billing Timing

For monthly plans, billing occurs on the same date each month as your initial subscription date (or trial conversion date). For annual plans, billing occurs once per year on the anniversary of your subscription start date. If your subscription starts with a free trial, your first charge will occur on the day after the trial period ends. All charges are processed in US dollars (USD).

5. Renewal Terms

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Monthly subscriptions renew every month. Annual subscriptions renew every year. You will be charged the then-current rate for your plan at renewal. If pricing has changed, we will notify you before the change takes effect on your next renewal. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account settings.

6. Cancellation Rules

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. When you cancel: • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. • You will not be charged for the next billing period. • After the current period ends, your account will revert to the Free plan. If you cancel during a free trial: • No charge will be made. • You will retain access to Pro features until the end of the trial period. • Cancelling before the trial ends prevents the first charge entirely. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. Refund eligibility is governed by Section 7 below.

7. Refund Rules

First Purchase Refund: We offer a 7-day refund window for first-time paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied after your first paid charge, you may request a refund within 7 days of that charge by contacting [email protected]. Note: The free trial period is separate from the refund window. During the trial, no charge has occurred, so the refund question does not apply. The 7-day refund window begins on the date of your first actual charge. Renewals: Renewal charges are generally non-refundable. If you do not wish to be charged for the next period, cancel your subscription before the renewal date. Billing Errors and Duplicate Charges: If you are charged in error or experience a duplicate charge, contact [email protected]. We will investigate and correct any billing errors promptly. Legal Rights: Nothing in this policy limits any refund rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. All approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Payment Processor

All payment processing for Sigvera is handled by Paddle (paddle.com). Paddle collects and processes your payment information directly. Sigvera does not store your full card details. Paddle handles payment authorization, charge processing, and refund execution. Your payment data is subject to Paddle's privacy policy and security standards. 9. Taxes and Fees

All prices listed on the Sigvera platform are in US dollars (USD) and do not include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Depending on your location, applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or other taxes may be added to your subscription charges. Tax amounts are determined by your billing address and applicable tax regulations. Paddle calculates and applies applicable taxes during the checkout process. You are responsible for any taxes associated with your subscription.

10. Exceptions and Legal Rights

This policy represents our standard billing and refund framework. However, nothing in this policy overrides or limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction. If applicable consumer protection laws in your country provide stronger refund or cancellation rights than those stated here, those legal rights will prevail. We may also make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis at our discretion, such as for service outages, billing system errors, or other exceptional circumstances.

Your continued use of the Service after the posting of a revised policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
